  1. When my children were younger they would often come sit on my lap to show me a bruised knee or tell me about a difficulty on the playground.  Sometimes I fixed the problem, but mostly they needed my arms around them and to know that I loved them.  Having a daily devotional time with God is an intimate time with Him.  Tell Him your concerns, listen to His guidance, and hear Him say “My child, I love you.”
